Receptionist

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

PTR’s business in Enfield, CT is currently seeking a Receptionist to join our team. This role is the face of the company and wears many hats assisting wherever necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Greets visitors, clients, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
  • Receives, sorts, and distributes mail.
  • Performs administrative and clerical support tasks, including basic filing and recordkeeping.
  • Assists various departments with a variety of tasks (including Accounting, HR, Job Shop).
  • Assists and serves as backup to Service and Spare Parts; receives and handles requests from customers and distributors for price quotes, purchase orders, order adjustments and order cancellations.
  • Performs other duties as necessary or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to learn database and ordering systems.
